I am passionate about Design because it is at the intersection of people, processes, experiences, art, business, and product development. It takes a village to make things a reality, and that inspires me. When together (remote or in person these days) with others, and either thinking strategically or serendipitously, I love bringing joy to those around me.
I pride myself on my ability to keep a pulse on technology, trends, behaviors, methods, and Design Practices that lead to exceptional results, and a thoughtful and empathetic process along the way.
I have had impact on the teams I have worked with when it comes to Strategic Initiatives, Design Processes, Design Research, UI/UX/ID Concept development, and Collaboration for Implementation.
I am also fascinated by the relationship between simplicity and complexity. This stems from a love for beautiful modern and contemporary aesthetics. And in contrast another part of me enjoys the intricacies and detail of rococo and the whip lash curves of art nouveau.
Over the past decade I have worked on countless projects that have benefited the lives and experiences of Engineers, Consumers, Customer Support Personnel, Field Operators, Aerospace and Defense Personnel, Industrial Workers, Surgical Staff, Technicians, IT Managers, Chemists, Manufacturing Site Managers, and many more.
Co-creating the tools that make their experiences better motivates me. This is best done through deep and intertwined collaboration where iteration and high frequency feedback is present. What is also key is balancing Desirability, Feasibility, and Viability in order to make the product and system real and successful for all stakeholders.
